'Centerfold'는 1981년 10월 26일에 발매된 제이 가일즈 밴드 (J. Geils Band)의 정규 10집 앨범 [Freeze Frame] 수록곡이다.
앨범 [Freeze Frame]은 미국 빌보드 200 앨범 차트 4주 동안 1위를 차지하였고, 싱글로 발매된 'Centerfold'는 미국 빌보드 싱글차트 핫 100에서 무려 6주 동안 1위를 차지하였고, 캐나다, 호주에서도 1위를 차지하였다. 그해 그래미상 최우수 록 듀오/그룹 보컬 퍼포먼스를 수상하였다.
제이 가일즈 밴드는 기타리스트인 J. Geils이 리더인 블루스 록밴드로, 1971년 1집 앨범 [J. Geils Band]로 데뷔하였다. 1집 앨범 [J. Geils Band]는 롤링 스톤 지가 선정한 올해의 신인 음반으로 선정이 되었다.
